Sorry my entries have spotty of late, but to be perfectly honest, chemotherapy has been kicking my butt. I didn’t make it to Wild Goose this year because it fell on a week that I had treatment and when that happens, all my get up and go gets up and goes somewhere else. The good news is that my CEA is right where it should be; about 2.3-2.5. The bad news is that my white count is getting low enough that I have to get Neulasta shots and they make me feel like I have the flu without all the disgusting bits. Don’t get me wrong though, I’ve haven’t thrown up yet and it looks like it’s going to stay that way. If you don’t think that’s a good thing, you haven’t experience chemo sick.
I’m keeping this short, so I’ll just say hang in here with me and, as time goes by, I’ll get to feeling better and back to my old rabble-rousing self pretty soon. Thanks
